La Small Business Administration degli Stati Uniti ha scelto i vincitori del "Small Business Person of the Year 2014" nei 50 stati, nel Distretto di Columbia, a Porto Rico e Guam.
Ogni anno l'SBA sceglie la sua Small Business Person of the Year in ogni stato e territorio. I premi riconoscono imprenditori e dirigenti chiave nelle piccole imprese per i loro successi e successi eccezionali nelle loro imprese e anche i loro contributi alla nazione. L'amministratore della SBA Fred Baldassaro ha dichiarato ai vincitori:

I vincitori di quest'anno saranno onorati a Washington durante la National Small Business Week, dal 15 al 16 maggio 2014. A quel tempo sarà annunciato anche un vincitore di Small Business Person of the Year a livello nazionale.
Ogni anno dal 1963 il Presidente ha proclamato una settimana come "Settimana nazionale per le piccole imprese" e il presidente Obama dovrebbe emettere un proclama simile.
